Over crumble their crackers,
Choose to say nothing.
A student works on her thesis,

Small table beside a Forgotten bagel.
A man, about eighty,
Flirts with a younger woman In her seventies.
Others read newspapers, Circle want ads,
Read obits out loud, Share comics.
We gather here."
